Personal Life Abhijeet Dipke

Abhijeet Dipke's parents, Bhagwanrao and Anita Dipke, live in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. They have spoken publicly about their worries over the personal risks of his activism; after the Education Minister's resignation his mother celebrated the "victory", while his father said Dipke would never join electoral politics. Dipke lived in Boston while studying at Boston University and returned to India in June 2026 to lead the protests.

Health

On 1 August 2026, Dipke collapsed while meeting visitors at his home in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Reports said he had shown typhoid symptoms after the long protest and had been treated in Delhi. Doctors advised rest.
