Bhuvneshwar Kumar (born 5 February 1990), popularly known as "Bhuvi" and the "Swing King", is an Indian cricketer from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler known for swinging the new ball both ways and for his control in the death overs.
He made his international debut against Pakistan in December 2012 and took a wicket with his very first ball in ODI cricket. He became the first Indian bowler to take five-wicket hauls in all three formats – Tests, ODIs and T20Is. He was part of India's 2013 ICC Champions Trophy-winning team.
In the IPL he won the Purple Cap in 2016 and 2017 with Sunrisers Hyderabad, and won the title with SRH in 2016. He joined Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2025 and helped them win back-to-back IPL titles in 2025 and 2026. He was RCB's leading wicket-taker in 2026 with 28 wickets. In October 2026 he was recalled to India's T20I squad after nearly four years.
