About Dr Ragini Sonkar

Dr. Ragini Sonkar is a dedicated leader and Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Machhlishahr constituency, representing the Samajwadi Party. She is a qualified doctor with an MBBS from R. G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata, and an MD in Ophthalmology from AIIMS, New Delhi. Coming from a family with a strong background in public service, Dr. Sonkar works with commitment to improve healthcare, education, and women’s empowerment in her region. Before entering politics, she served as a medical professional and continues to focus on the well-being and progress of the people of Uttar Pradesh.
