Kriti Sanon Early Life

Kriti Sanon was born on 27 July 1990 in New Delhi into a Punjabi family.

• Father: Rahul Sanon, a chartered accountant
• Mother: Geeta Sanon, a physics professor at the University of Delhi
• Younger sister: Nupur Sanon, also an actress, who made her film debut with Tiger Nageswara Rao (2023)

Kriti studied at Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram. She then earned a B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. During college she started modelling for ads and fashion shows. She has spoken about tough moments in her early modelling days, including being shouted at by a choreographer at her first show. Soon after, she moved to Mumbai to act in films.
