Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani (born 19 April 1957) is an Indian businessman and the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), India's largest company by market capitalisation. He built the Jamnagar refinery, one of the largest in the world, and turned Reliance into a conglomerate spanning energy, telecom (Jio), retail and media. He is regularly ranked as Asia's richest person, with Forbes putting his net worth at about US$99.7 billion on its March 2026 list.
