Personal Life Mukesh Ambani

Mukesh Ambani married Nita Ambani in 1985. They have three children:

• Akash Ambani (born 1991) – chairman of Reliance Jio
• Isha Ambani (Akash's twin) – leads Reliance Retail
• Anant Ambani (born 1995) – married Radhika Merchant in Mumbai in July 2024

The family lives in Antilia, a 27-storey private residence in Mumbai. In 2019 Mukesh paid off a debt owed by his brother Anil to Ericsson, after Anil faced contempt proceedings.

Philanthropy

His philanthropy is largely carried out through the Reliance Foundation, chaired by Nita Ambani. In June 2025 he announced a ₹151 crore endowment to the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, his alma mater.
