Rahul Gandhi is unmarried and rarely discusses his private life. He is a Hindu and has spoken about practising Vipassana meditation. He has trained in martial arts, particularly aikido and jiu-jitsu.
He serves in Parliament alongside his mother, Sonia Gandhi (Rajya Sabha), and his sister, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra (Lok Sabha, Wayanad). He and Priyanka are the only sibling pair in the 18th Lok Sabha. He is a trustee of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust.
